Perfect Heart
For it came to pass, when Solomon was old, that his wives turned away his heart after other god's: and his heart was not perfect with the LORD his God, as was the heart of David his father. (1 Kings 11:4 KJV Thomas Nelson (c) 2016) Though David sinned, he repented. David sorrowed over his sin, and returned to GOD. Job was a perfect and upright man. He feared God and eschewed 'shunned' evil (see Job 1:1) Perfect relates to Job's heart. Upright relates to Job's standing before The Lord. [This is not self righteousness or personal goodness.] We need The Lord JESUS for everything! He is Savior and Lord. Are we repentant of sin? Do we desire to please GOD? We are to worship and serve The Lord from the inside out. May we have a heart after the heart of GOD. Glory to GOD. In JESUS' Name, Amen.
If you do not know JESUS personally as Lord and Savior, receive Him into your heart, Today. You may say the following prayer, or you may use your own words. Dear GOD, Thank You for sending Your Son JESUS to die on the cross for the sins of the world, and Him rising again on the third day. I ask that You forgive me of my sins. Please come into my heart and help me to live for You. In JESUS' Name. Amen.
If you said the prayer, and meant it in your heart, Welcome to the Family of GOD. Continue in The Lord. Let the light of The Lord shine through you.
